Born in southern Italy, Sabrina Gomez lived her first years of life in a small Italian seaside village surrounded by gelato, mozzarella di bufalo and zuppa di cozze. 

La Dolce Vita is literally in her soul.

Her core memories were of delicious dinner parties along a table of shared plates, bubbling red sauces, lively conversations and a curiosity for each new dish that came excitedly from the kitchen. The bright yellow limoncello digestivo arriving at the end of the night is now ingrained into the ethos of every Cuore experience, as that final toast to say grazie and buona notte! 

Chef Sabrina is deeply inspired by the vibrant colors, smells, textures and overall love poured into old-world Italian suppers. Her most beloved dishes like farfalle al salmone, tuscan white bean crostini and whole roasted branzino are a direct homage to her mom Dana and the amazing moments they shared cooking together in kitchens throughout the world.

After years of inspiring travels, learning about food cultures in Europe, Mexico, Southern California and Asia (including a month-long culinary immersion in Thailand), Sabrina calls Richmond Virginia home, where she brings global inspiration and knowledge to her local food-forward community.

In 2023, CUORE became a reality, more than two decades in the making. From the bottom of her heart, Sabrina thanks you for supporting her vision and cannot wait to create the dinner party of your dreams!
